A celebration of the life of Joseph Reid was held at Plymouth Church on Sunday, April 27 at 4:00 pm. Joe lived a very wonderful and full life, from December 28, 1921 through March 3, 2008. It was a very lovely ceremony with music, readings, and tributes to Joe. Joe was greatly loved at Plymouth Church, at Hubbell Elementary, and by the North of Grand Neighborhood, and he will truly be missed. His love of photography and true volunteerism, along with his rich history of the area, touched many people. It's impossible to measure the countless contributions to the formation and organization of the North of Grand Neighborhood Association by both Joe and Mary Reid, and we pay tribute to them both. Our thoughts, hearts and best wishes go out to Mary Reid and their children Catherine and Randall.
