The following zoning variances were recommended:
CV02-063 McNAbb Funeral Home to continue commercial use in an area zoned residential with the following stipulations: 1. All parcels included in variance would be used solely for purpose of funeral business 2. Development of said parcels will adhere to plan 36-92 from the Columbus Neighborhood Design Center.
CV02-061 774 Mt. Vernon Ave. Knights of Pythias to continue commercial use in residential area.
CV02-056 409 Morrison - recommended amended hardship statement to include variance to reduce the number of off street parking spaces from 2 to 1 per unit as well as use variance for two family dwelling in area zoned single family.
Planning - recommended letter of support to allow Wakeforest Developers to offer additional city dollars as part of a financial package to potential buyers of homes they are developing as part of the Taylor Avenue project.
Bob Fritakis was elected to fulfill an unexpired term in District III.
