The "DOG HOUSE" Pastor

Many familiar with the ministry refer to the home director as the "dog house" pastor. For many of the men in the home, building the houses provides for a form of occupational therapy. For many, feelings of self-worth and usefulness has greatly diminished due to years of addiction and substance abuse. Building the dog houses brings about a sense of fulfillment knowing that they can once again work in harmony with their fellows, and by the talent of their hands produce a quality product for others.

The men also make bird houses, picnic benches and other wood products.
