Many expressed fear that crimes are escalating out of control as a result of drug activity in the valley. The police stated that they are trying their best, but the community can assist them by reporting suspicious activity to 911. The Board discussed concerns raised by residents about Calvary by the Sea Church feeding the homeless who are camping on the beach and on Holy Nativity's benches in Aina Haina. A represenative from Calvary by the Sea Church has been invited to attend the next board meeting on 10/2/03 to discuss the situation.
