The City of Schertz Animal Control and the Schertz Animal Shelter are available to help control any animal problems that exist in this community. If you have any questions, problems, or complaints please contact them at
(210) 658-5321 ext. 1275. Their hours are Monday-Friday 8 A.M.- 6 P.M. After hours: bites only or wildlife in your home. Traps are available at
the Animal Shelter for a $50 refundable fee (refunded after trap is returned). Contact Roger Messick at (210) 648-6607 if you need a trap.
