Northcliffe

Note from the President-Dear Residents

Jan 01, 2005

I?’m happy to announce that the Board of Directors?’ efforts to curb speeding along Mayfair, Cherry Tree and Chelsea have had some success (not to mention the revenue it has provided to the City of Schertz)! In the six weeks since we spoke at the Schertz Transportation Safety Advisory Committee Meeting, the police have been VERY active ticketing speeders along those streets and monitoring the average speed of traffic. We believe that we have gotten their attention in this matter. Several members, again, attended their December meeting to reinforce our desire for a safe solution to the traffic hazard that exists at FM 1103 and Chelsea. It appears that TXDOT began the requested traffic study for that intersection last week. They will, no doubt, be impressed by the volume of traffic registered.

As I drive throughout the community I have been very impressed with all of the beautiful Christmas decorations in the neighborhoods. So many families have spent so much time decorating their homes for Christmas. It?’s exciting to see how many people care about the appearance of their neighborhood.

There are many issues to tackle and resolve in order to make Northcliffe the kind of community in which most of us would like to live. However, this is not the time for debate. It is the holiday season, and a time to be thankful for our blessings and celebrate the joy of the season. On behalf of the Northcliffe Homeowners?’ Association, I wish all of you a joyous, safe, and blessed holiday season.

Debbie Bell, HOA President
