On Tuesday, August 3, your HOA will sponsor National Night Out at the Northcliffe City Park from 7-10 PM. We will have a speaker and free material on how to make your home and community a safer place to live. Your HOA will also be sponsoring Family Night at the Northcliffe Pool immediately after the National Night Out presentation. Look for more information in your August newsletter, and posted on the marquees at both entrances.
Many of you have met Dorothy Boyle, Linda Cohen, Angela Hougdahl, and Theresa Juarez as they have made their way around our community talking to you about Neighborhood Watch and the HOA.
Your HOA is sponsoring the neighborhood watch program, and it's a good way for each of you to meet your neighbors and make Northcliffe a safer place to live. If you?’re interested in participating, please contact Dorothy or Linda. Their phone numbers are listed in this newsletter.
Your Board is petitioning the City of Schertz to invest in more facilities at our Park. The budget process with the city may be a long one, but I trust that in the long run it will pay off for both the city and the residents of Northcliffe. Our first priority is to have the city install a basketball court at the park and a water fountain. In our multiyear plan we are looking forward to having the city install more playground equipment, park benches and tables, a pathway around the entire park, more lighting, a snack bar in the pool area, and a fence along the drainage ditch. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve our park, or any questions or comments please give me, or any board member a call. We certainly welcome the input. Our numbers are listed in this newsletter. If you prefer to contact me or the HOA by E-mail, please put HOA in the subject line and address it to me at DMcCune615@aol.com or the HOA at ncliffe2000@yahoo.com.
