Northcliffe

Dear Residents

Feb 28, 2004

Your HOA Board and some Northcliffe residents met with Officer Kreutler about starting neighborhood watch programs in our community. He answered some questions but went away with many more. The good news is that he has given us the necessary forms and information to get started. Now comes the hard part. Getting them up and running. I say them, because for a neighborhood watch to be really functional, it needs to be a street by street responsibility, and not a community wide responsibility. So WE NEED YOUR HELP to make our community and your individual street a safer place to live. We need volunteers. All those that are interested, please contact Linda Cohen or Dorothy Boyle at the phone numbers listed in this newsletter to get more information or see the article in this newsletter. We are planning several events over the coming months. We plan to start with a community cleanup on Saturday, March 27 at 9 AM at the front entrance. We will be cleaning up trash and debris on Country Club, Portage, Mayfair and Chelsea. Everyone is welcome and it's a good way to meet your neighbors. On Saturday, April 3 at 10 AM at the Northcliffe Park we are planning our second annual Easter Egg Hunt. Look for more information in this newsletter and on the boards at both entrances. For those of you who participated in last year?’s event, it was a lot of fun. We will have at least three different areas for the different age groups of children, but it will be open only to children between the ages of newborn to 12. Come out and enjoy this free event.
If you have any questions about anything in this column or newsletter, or any concerns about our community, please contact me or any Board members. Our telephone numbers are listed in this newsletter, or if you prefer you may E-mail me at DMcCune615@aol.com or the HOA at ncliffe2000@yahoo.com.
