Northcliffe

Dear Residents

Jan 26, 2004

I know everyone is as happy as I am to have our flag flying proudly again. Dave Garber coordinated all of the projects necessary to get this job done. From dealing with a sometimes difficult NBU to locating a company with a crane tall enough to service the flag pole, to getting an electrician to do the final wiring and talking with an untold number of people. Dave spent many, many hours getting this job accomplished. On behalf of the residents of Northcliffe and Scenic Hills, THANK YOU DAVE!
We are still in the planning stages on the new Chelsea St. entrance sign. I am currently waiting to hear from the City of Schertz on the required set backs for the sign from the street and the culvert. The good news is we have a design, and your Board is working hard to get this project completed.
I want to welcome Linda Cohen and Dorothy Boyle to the HOA Board. Linda and Dorothy have filled the last two vacancies on the Board and have already hit the ground running.
Your HOA Board is working on several things from painting the base of the flag pole to make it more attractive and putting a nice brass plaque next to it, to looking into having a
community events board at our park and having the HOA sponsor several events for our
residents. Our new board members have brought some great ideas forward and we look forward to implementing them.
If you have any questions about anything in this column or newsletter, or any concerns about our community, please contact me or any Board member. Our telephone numbers are listed in this newsletter, or if you prefer you may E-mail me at DMcCune615@aol.com or the HOA at ncliffe2000@yahoo.com.
