ANIMAL LICENSING PROCEDURES:

Any person owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of any dog or cat
four months of age or older within this municipality must obtain a license
as herein provided.

Written application for licenses shall be made to the City of Schertz which
shall include: name, address of applicant, name of animal, description of
the animal, a rabies certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian and the
appropriate licensing fee. The licensing period shall begin with the rabies
vaccination date and shall run for one year.
