?“We don?’t just talk about service, we do it at every opportunity ?— every day.?” That is a direct quote from TMG,Inc.?’s mission statement and one that we absolutely try to follow. And, the reason I have begun with this statement is that I want to try to clarify a service we provide that seems to be somewhat confusing.
It?’s called direct debit. You should have received a letter and a form to complete that allows your bank to withdraw funds from your account to pay your monthly association dues. No muss no fuss ?— just a convenient way to ensure your dues are paid timely even if you are away from home.
So how does this work? You complete the form, send it to us to process. Sounds simple but the fact is that in the beginning you also need to send a check for the current dues. This is necessary so that we have time to get the form processed in our offices and then forwarded to your bank. This means that the debit to your account will be withdrawn on the following schedule:
If the form and payment is received 30 days or more before the next payment is due, it will be deducted for the next payment.
If the form and payment is received less than 30 days before the next payment is due, the funds will be deducted the FOLLOWING month.
It is also important to note that the funds are actually subtracted from your account on the 5th of the month or the next working day after the 5th if that is a weekend or a holiday.
Did this help in your understanding of how the system works? If it still isn?’t clear, please feel free to contact me and I?’ll do my best to improve my explanation.
A quick reminder: please complete the form for common area issues so that we can have them for our punch list walk around.
