In response to the Lichen PTA?’s request for help, the group has received a number of donations to help them replace the school?’s outdated and unsafe playground equipment, but the project is a long way from being funded.
Even with the donations presently accounted for, the PTA will need to raise at least another $4,000 to $6,000 to purchase the new equipment needed. Miracle Recreation Equipment (see ?“At the Park?”) representative, Scott Graf, has pledged his help in trying to secure playground equipment for Lichen at a reduced price and the PTA is optimistic that with community support, our children will only need to be without equipment for a short period of time.
If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation, you can make your check payable to ?“Lichen PTA?” and mail it to the NNA - P.O. Box 7842, Citrus Heights, CA 95621 or directly to Lichen School at 8319 Lichen Dr., Citrus Heights, CA 95621. You can also call the school at 971-5237 for more information.
