Scientist Once Employed by Cell Industry Now Exposes Same

Dr. George Carlo spent six years heading up a $27 million study as the head of Wireless Technology Research (WTR). WTR's research was and still is, financed solely by the wireless industry.

In 1999, Dr. Carlo concluded at the end of this study that, in fact, cellular radio frequency radiation (RFR) emissions WERE harmful to humans. His study substantiated research done by Dr.'s Lai and Singh showing harmful effects of long-term (and short-term) exposure to RFR.

In January of this year, Dr. Carlo released his first book detailing the WTR study, the results of that study, and the cover-up of important scientific information that is still going on today by the wireless industry.

We Do Have A Choice

Although the Sunrise Recreation and Park District have decided that they know better than the citizens who use the parks, what is safe and what is not, we do have a choice.

We don't have to use the park. But, our taxpayer dollars have gone into that park! You don't say? Then we do have a choice, indeed. Our choice is to take back our parks from those who would chose to prostitute our children's future in the name of the almighty dollar.

It is not over yet. Before another cellular tower can be installed in Westwood Park, it must be approved by our Planning Commission. Do you want to have to tell your kids they can't use the park because it might make them sick? I don't.

Contact our City Council and let them know that the time has come to stop letting Citrus Heights be the sweetheart of the wireless industry. It will be a lot easier to prevent a cell tower from coming in than it will be to tear one down!!
