SAFETY RECALL

Over 300 reports of exploding toilets and 14 injuries have prompted the recall of the Series 503 Flushmate III pres­sure assisted flushing systems. It's a tank within the traditional toilet tank. The Flushmate III was sold at Home Depot and Lowe's stores nationwide for about $108, and sold to distributors and plumbing contractors, as well as toilet manu­facturers inc1udingAmerican Stan­dard, Crane, Eljer, Gerber, Kohler,Mansfield, andSt. Thomas.
