Russian Thistle (akaTumbleweed) or Salsola. Help us to get rid of this invasive plant. Most of us recognize that big brown thorny bush that blows all over the place. Did you know that a large plant can carry and spread up to 200,000 seeds? The newly sprouted seeds look like pine seedlings. As the young plant turns greenish/reddish the blossoms and thorns begin to appear. Let’s trash this plant before it takes over.
