Good News for Oak Park Seniors

The Alpha Project (funded in part by SANDAG) is starting a Senior Transportation
Program that is FREE, Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Tips are not accepted.
The number to call is 1-844-884-3574. Is there a catch, yes a small one. You MUST
make a reservation 72 hours ahead. They will take you to doctors appointments,
grocery shopping, banking, and other things like Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps,
SSI & Social Security. Pick-up and drop-off at your home or destination
(2 destinations/day max.) This is for low income Seniors so call to see if this will work
for you and learn the rules.
