Covenant Changes

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE VOTE TO CHANGE THE RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS HAS PASSED WITH 118 PEOPLE VOTING TO CHANGE THE EXISTING COVENANT REGARDING OUTBUILDINGS.

THE NEW COVENANT SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:

Outbuildings:
An Outbuilding is defined as a temporary or permanent structure that has 4 walls and a roof, designed and/or used for storage.
a. Outbuildings greater then 144 Sq feet are prohibited.

b. Outbuildings with a roofline taller then 10 (ten) feet are prohibited.

c. Prefabricated outbuildings are prohibited.

d. Aluminum or steel outbuildings are prohibited.

e. Outbuildings must be architecturally similar to the main structure on a lot. They must be built using wood framing and the siding should be clapboard similar in appearance to the main structure of the house. Masonry products similar in appearance to the masonry on the main structure are also allowed. Roofing must be asphalt shingles in the same color as the shingles on main structure.

f. Outbuildings may not be placed in between the building Line of a lot and the street.

g.The Following are not considered outbuildings: Rubbermaid or similar storage boxes, dog houses, gazebo’s, deck boxes & Child Play sets.

h. All outbuildings must conform to city building code and regulations.

i.Outbuildings can only be placed in lots that have a privacy fence installed
