Notices and Updates
1827 Park Avenue ?– The old Human Resource Building.
The demolition phase of removing the Human Resource Building is complete. Concrete and asphalt will be left in place to eliminate dust until a later date.
1919 Ogden Street ?– the old Pavilion Building.
We have completed the demolition of the Pavilion Building. The asphalt and concrete will be left in place to control dust. This will be removed at a later date.
Park Avenue Uptown LLC is now welcoming the community to contact us regarding taking bushes and trees from the old Human Resource and Pavilion Building areas.
Sanitary Sewer line along Ogden Street.
The Sanitary Sewer work has been slightly delayed. We will begin the equipment mobilization for the Sanitary Sewer line along Ogden Street the week of March 11th. This project will require 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Ogden Street will be closed for this period. All traffic from Emerson East on 19th will be detoured.
Power Plant on the corner of Ogden and 18th.
The Power Plant is in process of being decommissioned. The equipment is being removed this week and the demolition is scheduled for the end of the month.
Separation of Tammen Hall
We have begun the separation of Tammen Hall from existing structures. This work is scheduled to be completed in about two months.
Separation of the Health Center
The separation of the Health Center has begun and is also expected to be completed in two months.
The Utility Building
The demolition of the Utility building will begin in the 1st or 2nd week in April and will take about two weeks to complete.
