Hampshire Estates Neighborhood Association
We are a diverse group who reside on Beacon & Concord Drives in the City of Beachwood. We were the first housing development in the Village of Beachwood in the late 50's. When Shaker Heights refused to educate the black students of Beachwood who lived in this area, the Village built our High School and the first graduating class was 1961, we became widely known as LITTLE AFRICA.
Contrary to belief we represent in our community all creeds, faiths and colors, thus really being a VILLAGE. UNITED WE STAND / DIVIDED WE FALL
