In order for your neighborhood to operate a civic association membership dues need to be collected from residents and property owners. Membership dues are only ten dollars per year / per houshold. You cannot vote on any issues at hand unless your houshold's membership is payed.
The membership dues go towards paying fees associated with operating the association and the projects in which it supports.
The membership decides what projects to supports. Projects we have supported in the past are Halloween crossing guards to help children cross Commonwealth avenue. News letters printed to distribute to the neighborhood. Claymont's Green Day.
