This response letter was forwarded to PATA by another citizen who had voiced their concerns about the overlapping Canal Winchester & Pickerington annexations.

Thank you for your recent letter regarding the City of Pickerington’s annexation petition and your concern with its potential for negative impact to the CEDA and Canal Winchester School District.

As you know, overlapping annexation petitions have been filed by the Village of Canal Winchester and the City of Pickerington. We have scheduled concurrent public hearings for the two petitions on May 1 at 2:00pm, and you are certainly welcome to attend these hearings and enter your comments into the record of proceedings.

In the meantime, we thank you for your comments and your interest in the future of Fairfield County.
