Violet Township Trustees and the Zoning Board will hear two rezoning requests in early February to increase housing density that would be allowed over existing zoning on two parcels in the Milnor Road area.
Analysis and density projections for these projects will be posted by the end of the week by the Township Focus team on this site.

The Violet Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, located at 12970 Rustic Drive, Pickerington, Ohio to consider the following application:
An application for zoning change filed by Davidson Phillips for 145.3 acres owned by YBBN Properties, located on the west side of Milnor Road, ½ mile south of Refugee Road. Applicant is requesting a change in zoning from the existing R-1 and R-2 zoning districts to the Planned Residential District (PRD) in order to accommodate 250 single family home lots and condominiums that will not exceed 175 dwelling units.
This application will be available for review in the office of the Zoning Inspector during regular business hours.

The Violet Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at the Violet Township Administrative Office, located at 12970 Rustic Drive, Pickerington to consider the following application.
An application for zoning change filed by Sean Lanning, EMH&T, 170 Mill Street, Gahanna, for property owner John Donley, 6430 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, for 138.6 acres located at the southeast corner of Milnor and Blacklick-Eastern Roads. Applicant is requesting a change in zoning from R-1 and R-2 zoning districts to the Planned Residential District (PRD) in order to accommodate a 205 lot single-family subdivision.
