All volunteers for the Manazanar PLC trip will be having a pre-trip orientation meeting on Wed, 16 Apr, 12 noon-1pm in room R-109.
Participants must turn in all appropriate forms by noon, Wed.
The training sessions at Manzanar NHS will involve GPS use for road surveys. If time permits and if personnel are available, tree survey training will also occur.
Students need to have camping gear (tent and sleeping bag). Weather forecasts indicate cloudy/partly sunny conditions with night time lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Vans depart PCC about 12:30pm from north end of Lot #3 (this is the lot west of the parking structure near the corner of Hill and Del mar). The vans will be here for loading. Anyone parking their car at PCC overnight must complete a special parking request (get a form at the Wed meeting), take it to PCC campus police for approval.
