Annual Meeting Report

The annual meeting of the Park State East Neighborhood Association was held February 17th at the Georgetown Library. This newsletter will attempt to cover subjects discussed at the meeting as well as review Fort Wayne City Codes that apply to those discussions. Please review these laws/regulations to make our neighborhood a more comfortable environment for all our residents.

In your newsletter you should also find a copy of the Pocket Guide to Fort Wayne Services. This is an update of the guide we received when we were annexed into the city. Any subjects that aren?’t addressed in the newsletter or guide may be found by visiting www.cityoffortwayne.org

Elections for new officers was deferred to our next meeting Wednesday June 8. Only two PSE officers and the Representative at Large were in attendance at this meeting and resident attendance was low, so it is hoped that increased attendance in June might provide a better atmosphere for elections. The officers in attendance were quite willing to continue in their positions. It is further hoped that other residents might be willing to step forward and participate in this community effort. Positions do not require a lot of work, but give residents a chance to help shape their community.
