It's That Time Again!

It's that time again. Time for the Homeowners Association to celebrate the finest yards in our community.

The purpose of the YOM is to provide incentives for residents to maintain and improve the appearance of our community by promoting well-kept yards.

One winner each month will receive a $50 award and will proudly display a "Yard of the Month" sign in their yard. A picture of the winning yard will appear in the HOA newsletter for all to see (as soon as I get instructions on availability of adding pictures).

Every homeowner is invited to participate. This years lawns will be judged sometime during the first three days of each month. Homeowners will be judged on yard maintenance, design and landscaping.

The judging process uses the following guidelines:

1. Each yard will be limited to winning the award only once in any calendar year.
2. Only the front yards as viewed from the street will be judged.
3. One home will be selected each month.
4. Current board members are not eligible.
5. Winner must be in good standing with the HOA.
6. Members of the HOA Board and/or designated representative will judge, determine, and select the Yard of the Month prior to the award being given.
7. A Yard of the Month sign will be placed in the winning yard.
8. Judges decisions are final.
