Welcome newcomers. It?’s always nice to see new faces among us. Please invite your neighbors!

1. Announcements:
The minutes from each meeting will be posted on our neighborhood website.

2. Mike updated us on the status of the grant proposal. It has been submitted and the city will review it in March and send it back to us for corrections and then we will re-submit it. After we receive the grant money, work will begin. It will take anywhere from 4 to 8 weekends to complete our projects. We will need to go door to door to ask for volunteers. Food and drink will be needed during the work weekends, along with physical labor. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mike at 303-678-0141.

3. New business:
It has been suggested that we get a sign to post in the neighborhood with information about our next meeting date and when work weekends will be held. It was also suggested that a block party be held to coincide with the bike path clean up project.

Karen suggested a ?“generic?” letter to be given to landlords with rental property in our area informing them about our neighborhood group.

Karen also suggested getting together in the fall and doing a walk around the neighborhood to ?“take back the night?” and make our presence known throughout the area.

Please Note:
Our new meeting schedule is as follows:
Beginning in March, we will be alternating meeting nights Tuesday one month, Thursday the next month and every 3rd month we will be meeting on Saturdays. Our next meeting will be

Tuesday, March 8th at 7:00 p.m. at the Youth Center on Lashley Street.
