The CMPD has a new program for Communities that have a Community Crime Watch in Place.
Beacon Lights are availabe at Adam 3 Service Center, locacted at 4150 Wilkinson Blvd.
The Light Bulbs are free; so please pick one up today or call the number below.
The lights will help Fire, Medic and the Police find your location if you have placed a 911 call.
It is a special 60 watt light bulb that goes in the porch light . Flipping the light two times activates that flashing light so that the emergency agency can find your house at night more quickly .
The service is free. When you are given the light you will be asked for your name, address and phone number. This info is then given to 911 operators and entered into the system that you have a Beacon Light.
