Covenant and Restrictions

We the Ramblewood Assocation, Inc. decided to introduce this convenant and the restrictions in the neighborhood of Ramblewood Charlotte, NC County of Mecklenburg as of May, 2001 (updated 02/26/04) We feel this in necessary and in the best interest of all homeowners and renters. It's our responsibility to insure that the community maintains its good standing. Some of these ordinances are implemented by the City of Charlotte and not the Association.

1. The dues for the upkeep and neighborhood activities in our community will be $30.00 per household per fiscal year form June-June.

2. There is a noise ordinance within the city limits of Charlotte for loud noise and music. This includes the riding of motorcycles through our neighborhood from 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. If there is noise after 9:00 PM call 311.

3. No unused or junk cars and trucks are allowed to be parked on the street or put up on blocks. There is a fine by the city of Charlotte. No trucks, (big commerical), or tractor trailors are permitted to park on our streets or property (signs are located at entrances).

4. Lawns must be kept cut, (if not there is a 25.00 fine imposed by the city of Charlotte). Shrubbery must be kept cut and neat. If you live near a sidewalk please keep grass and shurbbery off the walkway.

5. Regular Garbage Collection: Garbage cans must be rolled out the previous night or before 7:00 am the day of pickup and be taken in by 12:00 noon the next day day, if not, there is a fine by the city of Charlotte.

6. Special Pick-up Bulky items (ie. furniture, refrigerators tree stumps, construcitno materials) will not be picked up with the regular garbage collection, please call 311 to schedule a pick up.

7. Animal Control The City of Charlotte has a leash Law, all Dogs must be kept on a leash or confined in a fence. If not, a fine can be imposed.

8. No house furniture on the front porch or in the yard.

9. No chain link fence in the front yard, wooden fences permitted.

10. no parking on front lawns. This is a City Ordinance.
