As of November 1, our membership totaled 146. Membership in 2010 reached 155. Thank you to everyone who joined and supported the RHA this year.
The Membership Drive for 2012 will officially begin on January 1, 2012. Dues are expected to remain at $35/year. New residents and renters are welcome and encouraged to join. Any questions on membership can be addressed to Connie Garnett at 262-3035.
While membership is voluntary, dues represent our only source of income and go towards expenses such as the RHA annual meeting and dinner, the Yard of the Month program, the Halloween Parade and Costume Contest, the Holiday Hayride, memorials, the printing and mailing the Newsletter, upkeep of the entrances, and future maintenance needs. The new lighting at the entrances represents a major expenditure and the power used from here forward will be a new expense for the Association. In view of our limited resources, as much work as possible is done on a volunteer basis.
