OMBUDSMAN MADELYN
LG&E?—Some Regency Woods homeowners maybe unaware that about 40 of your neighbors were without power for one long week during Hurricane Ike?’s wrath. The board is trying to remedy the problem so that all Regency Woods homes are on the Lowe Road transformer instead of the overloaded antiquated one on Sterling Road. Our contact person at LG&E is David Britt, phone number 364-8250. Affected homeowners might want to contact him with your concerns, frustrations, and unanticipated inconveniences of frequent power outages. He needs to hear from you! He is easy to talk to and very pleasant. If anyone has other means of helping us with this problem please contact me, Madelyn at 491-8178.
BLOCK WATCH by Mary Rose
Communication continues to increase among our neighbors concerning problems and suspicions. Officer Leonard will be present at the homeowner?’s annual meeting January 22, 2009 for a questions and answers session. The email list is an excellent way for us to communicate and it continues to grow. Thanks to all my co-captains for their work.
BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS
Four board members terms expire this year. If you have any questions or are interested in running for a position on the homeowner?’s board please call or email, Mary Rose, and your name will be placed on the ballot at the annual meeting. This is a two-year commitment with meetings once a month.
LANDSCAPING
Our fake rock is missing again. The board and the landscaping committee are discussing alternatives to use instead of the fake rock. If you know where the rock is I am willing to go retrieve it and place it back where it belongs.
ANNUAL HOMEOWNER?’S MEETING
The date for the annual meeting has been set for January 22, 2009 at Oxmoor Country Club, 7pm. Proxies will be available for residents that cannot attend. Please let a board member know if you need a proxy, there is one vote per household.
