Our "Extras"

Our Neighborhood Association is responsible for beautification projects around the City, as
well as hosting the annual Halloween Party for the children of the City, guiding the Christmas
decoration contest and is involved in several special events. If you are interested in
volunteering for the Richlawn Neighborhood Association, please contact Mayor Banta!

The block long grassy field on the north side of Ledyard is actually City owned property, and as
such has long existed as a play area for the City?’s young residents. While no formal
playground is there, its openness and size make it a good place for the younger set to work
off their boundless energy, have a quick picnic in the summer, play football, and otherwise
enjoy one of Richlawn?’s greatest fringe benefits.

The riding of trail or motor bikes on City property is prohibited due to the destruction of
grass as well as being a noise hazard to the nearby residents. Also, while parking is
permitted along the field, it must of the ?“two same side wheels?” on the road variety, as with
any City property.
