I am looking to buy my first home and am loving the looks and prices of homes in River Rouge. I need some good and honest facts about RR. What can you tell me about the city that is great (or horrible) so I can be sure I make the right decision? I am especially interested in knowing about things like safety (I am married but my husband is often away and I'd sleep better knowing there's little or no crime in my neighborhood. How well does the police dept. patrol your streets? Are they pretty prompt if you call with a problem?), taxes, cost of utilities, and how well the city is run by its government.
