Coyotes are becoming common sights in urban areas across North America and have already been spotted on and near the Throncreed Golf Course recently.
Larger than a fox, and smaller than a wolf, coyote weight varies from about 25 to 40 pounds, with coyote mailes being generally larger than females. Normbally coyotes pose no danger to adults, but people shold be aware there are potential risks to pets and small children. Coyotes are by nature fearful of humans but some have lost their fear of humans after being fed by people over time.
