Latest News on 136th Avenue Interchange

Work during the month of June involved the installation of underground pipelines and the construction of the embankments for 136th Avenue and the northbound I-25 ramps. In july the contractor will perform night work on I-25 with two of the three lanes closed to place concrete barrier to protect workers working to widen I-25 for a short length. This widening will provide the space needed so that the center pier supports for the bridge can be constructed with very little interference to the flow of traffic.
