New Grid Garbage Collection System,
FYI Garbage Collection
Beginning this week, March 25, 2013, the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation will begin rolling out the grid garbage collection system to approximately 65,000 households in wards 6 & 9.
Residents with alley service
Garbage Collection day for Roseland Heights will remain the same TUESDAY.
Blue Carts will be emptied during the week of collection.
March 25-29 is the pick-up week for recycling. The next recycling pick-up week is April 8-7
There is no specific collection day for blue recycling. Put your blue cart out during your entire pick-up week.
Yard Waste
will be collected from April-November during the same week as your blue cart. Place bagged yard waste next to (NOT inside) carts.
