General Meeting 2002 Thursday January 24

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Potluck
6:30 PM - 700 PM Various Tucson organizations will have table displays and will be available to talk to including: Tucson Police Department, Tucson Parks and Recreation, etc.,

7:00 PM the RWNA General Meeting will be called to order. Agenda will include on elections, possible changes to the charter, Treasurer?’s report along with discussions at the end.Per term limits RWNA President Loren Stoekel and Secreatary Barbara Stoddard will be stepping down. They cannot be re-elected at the General Meeting. The nominating committee will be looking for people to fill these positions so if you are interested please e-mail Loren Stoeckel (lorel@dakotacom.net) and he can forward it to the nominating committee. We are hoping that Vice President Steve Campbell and Treasurer Wilma Yetzke will stay for another term. The neighborhood association has depended on a very small group of people over the last year and we are hoping to get more people to become part of what has been a successful team. Also remember that you can serve on a committee without being a board member. Our greatest need are for people with any background in grant writing. In the future the continued improvement of our neighborhood will depend in a large part on our ability to get funds for improvements. We do not qualify for low income funding so we have to work extra hard for funding. We plan to continue the Picnic in the Park, Clean-up programs, etc with your support!
