Volunteers Needed

Here is a brief description of some of the volunteer positions that do not involve going to Board Meeting or any other set times to meet. We have special needs that can be provided by retired people or for people in certain occupations.

Newsletter Gopher: Deliver the final newsletter copy during working hours to CNS and picking it up. Max: 10 hours a year!
Newsletter Processor: Feed the automatic folder and put a seal on each newsletter to seal it. Recommend at least two people. Four times a year for 4 hours. Max: 20 hours a year.
Street walkers: We need people to pass special notices out for the streets they live on. At times we do not have enough street representatives for all the streets so we are looking people on their street to deliver notices, etc.
Transportation Specialist: Picnic in the Park help. Pickup truck to get tables and chairs from neighborhood organizations or a bar-b-que from a local resident.
Purchaser: food and drinks for the Picnic.
Grant Writers: People with a gift to write and organize documents so they communicate well.
Grant Finders: People with time to find valid grants for our neighborhood through libraries and the internet.
