VIP (Volunteers in Prevention) Report

The activities of VIP provide benefit to RWNA by reducing the graffiti present and assisting with crime prevention. Each month VIP provides a summary of VIP?’s monthly activities and summaries of crimes reported within the boundaries of the RWNA when available. Here is part of the report on burglaries from VIP (source: TPD) that was presented at the annual meeting.

The number of burglaries is going down in the RWNA area.

VIP members, after TPD training, patrol the neighborhood and report suspicious activities to TPD. They also work on graffiti abatement. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Loren Stoeckel at 326.2643.
