The damage to the trees, graffiti to the trees, and surrounding land is nothing short of organized vandalism. As much of the damage as possible will be cleaned up, however, some of the is broken branches, and painted trees which does not lend itself to cleanup. Only mother nature can make those repairs. It is simply sinful the damage that is being inflicted on these beautiful old trees. There is no excuse for this type of ?³organized vandalism.?² It is the intention of our neighborhood to stop this damage and prosecute any person found guilty of vandalizing the park.

The presentation given was both moving and distrubing. There is not defense available for spray painting trees, breaking limbs off trees and placing graffitti on the pavement. This can not be tollerated in any neighborhood, but more directly, we can not tollerate this distruction in our neighborhood.
