A Zone change appeal for 1785 South Tejon:
Pursuant to the Neighborhood Organization Registration Ordinance (Section 41-91(g), Revised Municipal Code), you are notified that the attached application, Case No. 282-98 has been filed with the BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR ZONING APPEALS, on the issue cited.
The five member, quasi-judicial, citizen board will hear this appeal at the public hearing in Room 204, 1445 Cleveland Place (Annex I), telephone 640-2059, at the time and date indicated, and render a decision within limitations enumerated in Section 59-54 of the Zoning Code. Your organization and all persons who appear at the hearing will receive a written copy of the decision.

Subject: Appeal of an order to correct the location of a porch 10 feet into the 31 foot average front setback, in an R-1 zone.
Possible Remedies: Variance
Application Statement: I talked to the help desk and they told me I did not need a permit. Then a friend of mine told me that if there were more than 200 square feet I would need a permit. So, then I came back and asked the help desk and the sent me upstairs to Zoning, but I already had it all done. The young man by the name of Douglas Jones said it was wrong so I?¹m back here to request it.
