Any exterior changes to your house or additions on your property must be approved by the Architectural Control Committee. This includes wells, pools, fences, storage buidlings, etc.
There is a fillable PDF that requires your input. This is a requirement of the Covenants. For

Architectural Control Committee Approval Form Complete and submit this on-line fillable form with the requested information and send in your appropriate check. When completed and returned, this form, along with all other documentation, becomes part of the homeowner packet which you must present to the future buyer of your home. York County pool and hot tub guidelines
This file contains information regarding homeowner requirements for a pool (above ground or in-ground) and for installation of a hot tub. It includes fence requirments and audible alarm requirements as well as documentation required. This is a York County requirement. You must have this with the homeowner packet when you transfer your property.
