The Runnymede Estates subdivision has restrictive covenants that run with the land. The covenants have been in place since 1987 and remain in effect as they stand currently until 2007. The covenants are in place to help maintain property values. It applies to home owners and renters. What happens at your home affects us all! Unkempt lawns, too many cars on the property, refuge on the property, etc. effect your homes?’ value.
What happens if a covenant is violated?
If a covenant is violated the homeowner or renter will receive a friendly reminder of the covenant from the HOA. We do this in order to be courteous and allow the homeowner to correct the problem without government intervention. If the homeowner does not comply with the reminder, then Clayton County Code enforcement is called. Code enforcement has the authority to fine and prosecute homeowners in violation. Should you receive a reminder, please comply. Again, it?’s for the betterment of the community!.
