Approved July 2011 Minutes

S NAPP Minutes for July 21, 2011  

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM followed by a moment of silence. All officers were present.

The June minutes were approved. Motion to approve, Maureen Fischer and seconded by Les Pierce

The Guest Speaker was Special Agent Michael Foster from the FBI office in Phoenix.

Sergeant Broderick gave the TPD Report. He addressed recent issues concerning a shooting; home invasions and four significant graffiti arrests that were made.

Maggie Gerring gave the Treasures Report. There was no change from June.

A meeting was set to discuss the SNAPP by-laws on July 30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Carl's Jr on Park & Ajo.

There was a discussion about why SNAPP should be recognized by the City: some reasons discussed were similar values and strengths along with businesses would recognize our organization.

We also discussed getting more N/A's to attend SNAPP meetings.

Due to time restrictions we did not have time for the roundtable.

The Secretary, Dave Densmore, announced that he would be out of town and could not attend an Aug SNAPP meeting.
