The meeting was called to order at 6:17 All officers were present.
The Sept minutes were approved as written.
Sgt Joe Merrill gave the TPD Report. He announced Captain Basista is back as of 10/10/11 and that he will try to be at our next meeting. There is still a shortage of officers.
The Treasurer ,Maggie Gerring, stated there are no changes from last month.

Liquor License Update: Mazathan denied; Beverage Time to convert; Tucson Airport Hotel; Quick Break transfer of license from QuickMart...Council Offices on 11/22/11
Josh Simpson gave a report on the Crime Statistics Tool available on the City of Tucson Police website and how to use it. He encouraged neighborhood leaders to check it out and use it.
Presidents Report by Joe Miller: TUSD Schools received good news on the AIMs test, but the system For evaluating the schools will be changing.
Roundtable-
Cheryl Strickland, Cherry Ave N/A They had a postcard recruiting operation. On 10/22/11 Sgt Woolridge will be at Quincie Douglas and featuring the smart phone app for reporting graffiti. The cross walk should be done by Nov 1.
Les Pierce, Arroyo Chico N/A house were demolished on the north side of 22nd street. Land graded and discussions on park design are good to go and going out for bid.
Philip Mann and Barbara Behall Cherry Ave Seniors representatives were in attendance.
Margie Mortimer, Elvira N/A , Asked that everyone fill out a survey that she passed out.
Yolanda Herrera, Sunnyside N/A has a cleanup planned; Farmers Market; United Days of Caring; a rummage sale at the Church on 12th Ave; and Dynamite Car Wash at 12th & Drexel is now open. Yolanda reported that Bravo Park N/A is having National Take Back Day on 10/22/11
Karin Aguilar, Enchanted Hills has a new president, Irene Green; has a major clean up on West 22nd Street planned; they've been battling illegal signs around the neighborhood.
Rich Kessler, Elvira N/A has their street lights all in now,
Joe Miller, Midvale N/A has their annual Festival in Oak Tree Park on Sat 10/2/11; had their newsletter go out recently and Adopt an Area 8-9 on Sat in one of four area parks. Business College helping with the Make a Difference Day in the River Park on Sat, 10/22/11.
Maggie Gerring, South Park N/A the widening project on 36th will last until March so avoid the area if possible.
Les Pierce will be the chairperson for the Nov SNAPP meeting on the 17th.
