MLk will become the premier site for Civil Rights Archiving. The boulevard will feature 15 mini parks a myriad of stores and mini touring train with a Astroworld flavor all educational in nature.
This is the brainchild of Marvin C. Delaney a community Activist and Pastor of South Park Baptist Church.
Delaney hocked his pickup truck in 1978 bought 4 Radio Shack computers and began teaching computer science to the community children. Success was marked by how many students received jobs in the computer science area. He was very successful at directing students to Shell OIl for employment.
Shell Oil responded in-kind by placing a multimillion dollar computer youth training center in the Palm Center Community College complex on Grigss Rd.
Now MLK has the attention of Delaney as he prepares fund raisers for this massive project.
