A Design Charrette for Main Street in the Near East Side to be held on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 10 to 5 at the Central Community House.
Essentially, a design charrette is an opportunity for the public to participate through discussion in how an area is to be developed. People provide input, and architects and planners are present to translate those ideas into pictures and other renderings. That way you have a visible idea of how an area can be transformed.
