Questions regarding Super Market Project


1. How much is budgeted for the project?
A. What is the scope of the project - what renovations are expected of Compact. What is tenant expected to do?

2. Have we determined that this retailer is needed at that site? If so, what methods were used to ascertain that determination? What were the results of that determination.

3. What developers have been contacted with respect to potential projects for this site? When were these developers contacted and what were the results?

4. Why does the Compact have to develop this site? The Compact’s role has primarily been to prepare a site and hand it off to the developer or builder to complete.

5. What did the Salvation Army do with the funds they have received to date.
$400,000 for renovations of this site
$500,000 for purchase of Main & Wilson site by Compact
$500,000 for the mortgage
There are other funds. We would like a full accounting of what has been done with these monies and we want to know when to expect groundbreaking at new site.

6. Have there been any studies done about the health and safety status of the property to be renovated for the retailer?
