You received an invitation to it. If you went, you experienced it on Saturday, August 25, 2001 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. What a nice way to start Saturday, being fed a plate of pancakes and sausages with many other Oak Park residents. Many thanks to Assemblymember Darrell Steinberg and his staff and helpers. Assemblymember Steinberg visited with those who enjoyed the event, listening to concerns and having an enjoyable time, too.

I met some new friends and spoke to Cathen and Floyd who you all know. Councilmember Lauren Hammond, Supervisor Roger Dickinson, and Darrell Roberts were also there having breakfast and mingling with the neighbors.
