We haven't even gotten to use our new facility and it has been tagged, and vandalized. What a shame! I see today that attempts have been made to repaint over the graffitti, and I know the windows will be replaced as well.
My concern is what will happen once the facility opens. Will all the contents be stolen and vandalized as well? Now that taggers and vandals know the club house is nearing completion, I hope we have an adequate alarm system, and viligant patrols or else I see the building turning from something good into a logistical nightmare of constant repair.

Where is the Board of Directors?

Agree; I wonder WHAT is the status of the center? The $290,000 contract we paid for indicated the building would be ready for use November 2005. Understand some of the challenges, but not why the center is not is use now.
Yes, I would suggest that there be a 10-person committee formed to oversee the management of the center, get it open and into operation and address the problems you cite here.....M.
