Mayor Delaney's Town Hall Meeting

Sandalwood Neighbors was well represented at Mayor John Delaney's Town Hall Meeting at Regency Square Library on June 14. Under discussion were: the proposed gas station/convenience store at St. Johns Bluff Rd. and Bahia Dr., ownership of unpaved roads, our wonderful new library, pay for teachers, the 2,000 ft. expansion of a runway at Craig Field, zeroscaping.

We were able to speak with Mayor Delaney, Bill Potter of Parks and Recreation and our new City Council representative, Lynette Self, about the possibility of purchasing land for a park in our area.

We applaud the Mayor for being accessible to us and the Greater Arlington/Beaches Citizens Planning Advisory Committee for sponsoring the event.
